David brings his years of experience in and around Hollywood to Inmoo, helping establish partnerships, engage film festivals and develop lasting ties with the filmmakers.
David is an actor, writer, director, and producer who’s unique sensibility makes him one of the most versatile talents working in the entertainment industry today able to segue from comedy to drama with extraordinary ease. This makes David extremely uncomfortable because of the fact that he is writing this bio himself and it seems arrogant to boast about his incredible talents in such a way while also referring to himself in the 3rd person.
In 1997, he (I) was discovered at Sundance for his (my) role in JOHNS. Since that time, he (you get it) has acted in dozens of feature films, including the SCREAM trilogy, HAMLET 2, THE GREY ZONE, STEALING SINATRA, NEVER BEEN KISSED, DREAM WITH THE FISHES, NEVER DIE ALONE, and THE DARWIN AWARDS. Next year, he will reprise his role as Deputy "Dewey" Riley in the much anticipated fourth installment of the SCREAM films. The film, directed by Wes Craven is set for release in October 2010.
In January 2003, David formed a production company, Coquette Productions, with his gorgeous talented sexy hilarious loving wife, Courteney Cox. Through their company, he wrote and produced his directorial debut, THE TRIPPER (it was a big hit in Amsterdam) and THE BUTLERS IN LOVE, which he serves as executive producer and director. Also under the Coquette banner, David produced the FX drama, DIRT and ABC’s "Cougar Town" with Bill Lawrence which Arquette executive produces with the amazing gifted comic genius Cox, also starring. In addition, he is developing a full slate of feature film and television projects.
Two years ago, along with his friends Ben Harper and David Bedwell, David launched the clothing line Propr which started out in his garage and has grown to mass retail (eat your heart out Diddy).
David often gives his time to charitable causes (but never talks about it) and has recently been named the Chairman of the Entertainment Counsel for Feeding America. He also gives time to children’s organizations such as EB/MRF, which benefits children with Epidermolysis Bullosa, The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and Art of Elysium. The point of this bio is that, David is one heck of a nice guy.
