Our Story

Like most great Web destinations today, Inmoo was born out of pure frustration. Sure, there are many sites promising quality video content but they are mostly "meta" directories of other sites. Which in turn are often linking to yet another source. At the end it all comes down to watching an embedded stream from YouTube, Vimeo or, if you are lucky enough, Hulu.

As President and Founding Moo, Mike is responsible for all content relationships, licensing and strategic partnerships. • David Arquette
    Founding Moo

David brings his years of experience in and around Hollywood to Inmoo, helping establish partnerships, engage film festivals and develop lasting ties with the filmmakers.

David is an actor, writer, director, and producer who’s unique sensibility makes him one of the most versatile talents working in the entertainment industry today able to segue from comedy to drama with extraordinary ease. This makes David extremely uncomfortable because of the fact that he is writing this bio himself and it seems arrogant to boast about his incredible talents in such a way while also referring to himself in the 3rd person.

In 1997, he (I) was discovered at Sundance for his (my) role in JOHNS. Since that time, he (you get it) has acted in dozens of feature films, including the SCREAM trilogy, HAMLET 2, THE GREY ZONE, STEALING SINATRA, NEVER BEEN KISSED, DREAM WITH THE FISHES, NEVER DIE ALONE, and THE DARWIN AWARDS. Next year, he will reprise his role as Deputy "Dewey" Riley in the much anticipated fourth installment of the SCREAM films. The film, directed by Wes Craven is set for release in October 2010.

In January 2003, David formed a production company, Coquette Productions, with his gorgeous talented sexy hilarious loving wife, Courteney Cox. Through their company, he wrote and produced his directorial debut, THE TRIPPER (it was a big hit in Amsterdam) and THE BUTLERS IN LOVE, which he serves as executive producer and director. Also under the Coquette banner, David produced the FX drama, DIRT and ABC’s "Cougar Town" with Bill Lawrence which Arquette executive produces with the amazing gifted comic genius Cox, also starring. In addition, he is developing a full slate of feature film and television projects.

Two years ago, along with his friends Ben Harper and David Bedwell, David launched the clothing line Propr which started out in his garage and has grown to mass retail (eat your heart out Diddy).

David often gives his time to charitable causes (but never talks about it) and has recently been named the Chairman of the Entertainment Counsel for Feeding America. He also gives time to children’s organizations such as EB/MRF, which benefits children with Epidermolysis Bullosa, The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and Art of Elysium. The point of this bio is that, David is one heck of a nice guy.

Past

When we decided to launch Inmoo, we wanted to create an entry point for all things independent. Films, shorts, series, behind the scenes, experiments, Webisodes, you name it. One place to go when in need of something unique, edgy and perhaps a bit different. We wanted to make sure the content is free and supported by relevant advertisement from marquee organizations. We wanted to give back by sharing half of our proceeds with the movie makers and using our share to sponsor contest, festivals and re-invest into the world of independent cinematography.

Future

We have something for everyone. Some of it is "off the beaten path" or perhaps a bit "artsy", whatever that means. But it certainly is accessible to all. We feature original content from 100 countries in more than 60 languages. We pride ourselves in having thousands of films ranging from comedy and drama to documentaries and GLBT movies.

Inmoo.com is reshaping the world of independent movie distribution by providing an open marketplace for the content owners and content consumers, allowing them to transparently connect, interact and engage.

We live our lives by a simple promise. Do right by our visitors, our partners and our stakeholders. Every day. No exceptions.
